CO2 Hop Extract

CO2 extract can be repackaged and standardised to suit the requirements of our clients. Standardisation of the product allows the end user to reliably add a consistent bitter dose to the brew. We can standardise extracts to your specific requirements, such as 20%, 30%, 40% w/w alpha acids.

The α-acids present in the CO2 extract may be partially isomerised when boiled in the kettle but this is not the most efficient way to utilise hops in beers.

  • CO2 extracts are a concentrated form of liquid hops, allowing brewers to achieve the desired level of bitterness with a smaller amount of raw material. This can reduce waste and improve the efficiency of the brewing process.

  • Standardised CO2 hop extracts help ensure a consistency in each batch of beer. This is crucial for maintaining the flavor profile and quality of the product, leading to a reliable experience for consumers.

  • By offering extracts with specific alpha acid concentrations (e.g. 20%, 30%, or 40% w/w), brewers gain greater control over the bitterness and flavor characteristics of their beer. This precise control can help in crafting unique recipes and meeting specific product requirements.
