Here at JRM, we have been at the forefront of the development of hop extracts and their use in the global brewing industry. Our work has helped shape how hop extracts are utilised in brewing, providing brewers with more efficient and consistent ways to incorporate hops into their beers.
Our founder, Dr. Jim Seaton, was a Director of Scottish & Newcastle and also the first-ever Professor of Brewing at Heriot-Watt University. Through his role at the university, he contributed to the establishment of brewing as an academic discipline, helping to advance the understanding of hops and hop products.
Dr. Seaton's work laid the foundation for much of the knowledge we have today about hops and their role in brewing. His legacy continues to influence our approach at JRM, where we continue to innovate and drive forward the use of hop extracts in the brewing industry.
