Beta Solutions

Beta solutions can be created by extracting the beta acids from BASE and leaving insoluble oils and waxes out.  

The solution produced is a natural anti-bacterial product which can be used in food production, bio-fermenters and other natural applications.  

At JRM, this product can be supplied as a 10% w/w solution in bulk tanks. The product has a stable shelf life of up to 1 year in closed containers. Highly purified and de-oiled Beta resins are also available. 

  • Beta solutions naturally inhibit bacterial growth, making them ideal for food production, bio-fermentation, and other applications requiring microbial control.

  • The extraction process leaves out insoluble oils and waxes, producing a cleaner and more efficient solution. Highly purified and de-oiled beta resins are also available.
