Rho

Rho, also known as dihydro iso alpha acids (DHIAA) is the reduced isomer of IAA produced by JRM. The product is ideal for beers requiring a strong foam accompanied by a mild bitter taste.  

The product is typically offered as a 30% w/w solution, which is readily miscible with water. The product is recommended to be added after fermentation and before final filtration.  

Rho is a light stable bittering agent which also offers foam retention in beer.  

For Rho, we offer 20 litre UN drum containers or IBC’s. Custom packaging solutions are available upon request.
